In the demonstration section of the conference site, people's eyes are not only focused on the "great wisdom" of ICV unmanned intelligent driving technology, but also attracted by the lightness and ease of this "big man". This huge thing without a cab can not only change the direction of driving freely, but also can turn around 180 degrees in situ.
ICV has such "endurance", not only because of the autopilot technology to remove the cab, but also because it uses a large number of aluminum alloy profiles, light weight and low cost. As an aluminium alloy profile supplier for this model, Zhongwang Group, the world's leading aluminium industry, has provided FAW Liberation with the production, processing and manufacturing of all ICV profiles and aluminium sheets. FAW Liberation to seize the "intellectual" heights
At the press conference, FAW Jiefang brand-new replacement product J7 officially officially went off the line, and released L4 class series of intelligent cars to the outside world. This means that FAW Liberation has grabbed the "intellectual" high point of the industry - in the professional measurement system, L4 level means that the product has reached the standard of fully automatic driving, is the professional field of automatic driving recognized by no one.
ICV is the first intelligent driving transport vehicle to realize L4 port demonstration operation in China, and it is also the first in the world.
In order to meet the demand of full-scale container transportation, ICV threw away the cab directly. At the same time, it also carries the leading artificial intelligence technology, and constructs a precise and powerful environment awareness network. ICV can accurately perceive and identify the complex operation environment of the port, so as to ensure the safety and reliability of unmanned operation.
In the field demonstration of the conference, ICV completed the whole process of automatic loading and unloading and transporting containers. Because ICV has no cab and the front and rear wheels have steering function, it can complete the operation more flexibly. It can not only change the direction of driving freely, but also reduce the turning radius, and even make a 180 degree in-situ turn.
As the world's first model developed for the port container transport market, ICV has three unique advantages: easy to promote, economical, efficient and flexible. At present, ICV has been tested in many ports for a long time. It can complete 38 routine port operations such as dispatching, precise positioning, obstacle avoidance, car following and car meeting. It is reported that FAW Liberation ICV plans to formally put into commercial operation in early 2019.
FAW Liberation said that the company will jointly plan with the port in the future to provide intelligent, efficient, clean, energy-saving and easy to replicate intelligent terminal solutions. At the same time, FAW Jiefang will drive intelligent vehicles through expressway formation, port ICV special container transport intelligent vehicles, cleaning vehicles, intelligent mine dump trucks, urban intelligent logistics vehicles and urban intelligent buses. Facing different logistics and transportation industries and different production areas, FAW Jiefang will build an industry-wide intelligent product cluster and form a unique vehicle intelligent platform for FAW Jiefang. At present, FAW Liberation has joined hands with more than 40 top domestic and foreign partners to work together for the construction and development of intelligent commercial vehicle ecosphere. The cooperation between the first prototype car and the two sides is mainly focused on the whole vehicle skin and the structure of each subcompartment system. The following Zhongwang Group hopes to carry out more in-depth integration of the whole vehicle chassis system. As a result, the lightweight will be further sublimated. Zhongwang Group is willing to provide all-round cooperation for this project.
In this cooperation, Zhongwang Group has obvious competitive advantage in the whole project. In addition to the joint cooperation with FAW Liberation, Zhongwang Group has also made many achievements in the field of new energy vehicles in recent years. It has continuously launched technical cooperation with many domestic manufacturers of new energy vehicles and buses to jointly develop all-aluminium new energy vehicles and buses.
As early as 2012, Zhongwang Group cooperated with BYD Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., a domestic new energy automobile manufacturer, to provide all-aluminium body frame profiles.
